After Frost and Hue
I ride iron over land as stone skips over sea,
never known the future from my running from the past
like jumping free as the trains change track;
two paths diverge and that train,
that train seemed bound for no place
so I see I must turn back.

I opened a pistashio...

the tomaley
of a lobster
leaping out,

brains turning over,
set loose--
maybe set free--
twisting for a moment,
turning for a moment
in the breeze.

When there's what you've dreamed of...
Everything around is
drawing me in
like iron to magnet:
so close I can't let saltwater
go--
like stone
before steel--
some secrets revealed
over time
are perennial,
and you can dare to say, Love,
when there's what you've dreamed of...
