Do you dream the world is passing you by?

No, been here a long time, about 14.5 billion years. I am the world. And so are you if you look at it that way.

But the women, hey, don't get me started, you know how I get.

Well, maybe it's 14.5 million years. What ever in the fuck is going on in between brain farts.

it's easier said than done.

and kudos to bbc, for the 'world' comment.

once two souls meet,
their second conjunction
is foreseen
through every one of the 'beats'
their orbital paths imprint
on the cosmic scene...

and they burn boisterously
in between...

ah, the gift of the present moment, my friend. not all take it ... not all see it ...

treasures await in trial
in tribulation
very gibran of you

to measure the joys that
can be found in sorrow :)

I don't think the world is passing me by as it simply is. What often passes me by is the chance for enlightenment--the opportunity and discipline to understand my place in the world. I'm working on it.

Lovely poem.

Brings to mind another gibranism-the fear of thirst when the well is half full is the thirst than cannot be quenched.

I struggle with that one a lot. I do I do.

I don't have many feathers, but a fair amount of beach sand and shells and and pebbles and driftwood and such.

though in retrospect it would have been better to spend the week at the beach with her...

Yeah, kissing her boobs, if she wasn't so neurotic and Martha Stewart like. We're not neurotic, the women are, not that they will ever admit it.

Ever read a CURVES magazine? There is more bullshit in them than you can believe. But to be fair to them there is also some good advice.

It just has to be ran through the bullshit filters properly and a lot of women seem to have defective bullshit filters.

Bloody Hell....I have just realised:

The World IS in fact HERE

And not over THERE.

that is so great to know...in fact that fact alone has changed my life

Well...at least for the next 6 minutes.

Cheers Pal...your wisdom is appreciated. Now I'll go back and burn some toast.

Hooray...hooray....The World is Here...

Hopper: I hate when people say life is too short. It's the longest thing you have to do.

BBC: I believe men have the greatest capacity to bullshit each other. It's why Philosophy is still such a male dominated discipline.

Men have the greatest capacity to bullshit EVERYONE. But never underestimate the bullshit power of a woman.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink, and a horses ass is still just that, no matter what he thinks.

I hope I am passing by with eyes wide open, heart wide open, soul open to receive and to give back
to the world
that awaits
my passing by.
and I feel I am appreciating
all that the world
has to give me
and does
as I am
passing by.
I love my world and everything
in it.
I feel blessed to be
passing by.

I think that Debra Kay was talking about me. Thats about what I would expect from a member of THE INSANE CHICKS SOCIETY. (TICS)

I suspect that she is the vice presnut or presnut of her local chapter.

Hopper,

That was good. So many ways to look at that. Almost reminds me of Quantum Physics. The Secret, and such.

Hi everybody... wanted to say thanks for all the comments and thoughts... I'm sure you've heard it from me before... my favorite thing about this venue is the interaction...

I would like to say a special hello and welcome to MR. PINEAPPLE... I found your comments very enlightening... and so I went to the trouble to look up a clinic in London where they might be able to help you with that...
