Dear Hopper and Human Being:

What a delight to start a poem on one page and finish it on another!

Your posts have set the happy tone for my day and I shall likely be smiling for the rest of it.

Thank you both,
Martha

It is so inspiring and, well, impressive, to see such collaborations and engagement across kindred spirits..... as I mature in this new country/culture of blogging, I remain indebted to all who invest, and create and express...it is wonderful learning, this path laid down in the walking ( watching, listening, reading ).......thanks!

The more poetry of yours I encounter Jon, the more I realize how far reaching and ground breaking language can be. Poetry is so much more than just collected words; it's so much more than I ever imagined. I see in this little gem tomes worth of aesthetic theory conveyed so simply, so effortlessly, so beautifully.

Thank you for all that you do.

And the blades of a lawnmower stand it up as it cuts it short, ha ha ha.

Crow turned off comments? May as well not even blog then. They are just silly poems anyway.

i crossed my legs and tried to walk: paths avoided me!

Damn, wouldn't be getting any sex that way either, ha ha ha.

great spirits should not waste their time by reading silly poems... they should go and tend their garden... because blades of grass will grow taller and taller each day no matter how many times they are cut short by the blades of a lawnmower...

--------------------------
blunting the blades
watching
the tired animosity that fades--
the little blade of grass
as it is standing up to be cut...

BBC...
the comment window will be open soon... and i can enjoy the wisdom of all dear friends once again... including you...
but
can crow humbly ask the great spirit to do her a favor?
i really enjoy your sarcasm... wit... humor... and knowledge...
but
for the sake of all the remaining good things in the world, could you please...

ah... think the great spirit already knows what is the crow's wish...
:)
