Don't give in

Poison against poison
cleans the blood
(revitalizes the soul)
if a curse is on you
(a curse of death).
Quick application is the only cure
(welcome to the new world order)
(feel the power).
Ask, why does no one care about me?
Ask, how do I know?
You sleep so still with such a solemn brow
Still too young and small,
still so asleep.
The last four of the six rules of politics:
lie, cheat, steal, deceive
and the others...
I'll let you know.

Sleep for now.

Boy, you have more blogs than I do, ha ha ha.

I know that some care, but not enough care. And of the some that do, many can turn it off when they want something, or to do something.

But global warming has given us a great spring so maybe I should take a liking to it while they destroy this planet.

I posted more camping pictures this morning. My cats don't care if I go camping, the old lady next door has them spoiled anyway.

poisons always kill... unless they are prepared homeopathically into a remedy... a very long process of repeated dilutions and succussions... until the poison is bodiless... matterless... but it is present in the solution...

some call this phenomenon the memory of water... but quantum physics can help us understand how this happens...everything is energy...

in crow's words, we can describe it as the love between the purity of water and the gravity of poison... they touch and clash into each other millions times through succussions and they are reduced million times through dilutions...
thus becoming one... thus becoming nothing... but pure water...
and this water is different from the first water... it has gone through a very long journey... but lab men say these two waters are the same...

and this bodiless presence heals effectively... patiently...

thus the only healer... the quintessence... is love...

politics has got just one big rule:
ruling power... which stems from ignorance...

love never feels any power but the power it owns and shares...
it is all light and awareness... so it doesn't know what sleep is...

the remedy for politics is honesty...

a very beautiful work... made me crow a lot!!!

sleep for now... the sweet dreamless sleep of de-sensitization; chilling harbinger... and innocently deployed; nice irony.
you're good at this...

;)

Great piece of poetry! I love it. I especially like your use of parentheses.

thanks for dropping by... yeah I have a bunch of blogs (but I'm not maintaining all of them)... have been liking the camping pictures... keep them coming.

HB
"the remedy for politics is honesty"
I like the sentiments of this statement... though wouldn't that signal the end of politics? as always thanks for your reflections and ideas... appreciate this a lot

Harle
I'm liking writing these kinds of words... thanks!... irony is a wonderful thing

Lauren
something about the parenthesis that lets us speak in two different voices that I'm working with a times... thanks for your stopping by

I only drink Poison
To clean my blood
If any curse is on me
I take it with an open heart
I feel m eternally powerful
I'm not in order but order is within
Why should anyone care about me?
I'm the master of my own
Terror of terrors and Fear of fears
I sleep but not dreaming
And politics?
All these are nonsense
I have no rule
Only rule is to break the rules.

bleak. i have the same impression of potlitics, and would add to your six rules: wet a finger, stick it up and see which way the wind blows. react. never lead, always follow, and always call yourself a leader. i also like your use of parenthesis.

it left me wanting though for the concrete: what inspired this cynicism? maybe the examples are too numerous.

Shubhajit thanks for this. You write this so well...

"I'm the master of my own
Terror of terrors and Fear of fears
I sleep but not dreaming"

such powerful lines, and they do so much more than my poem on its own... thanks so much for your addition and for sharing your ideas so freely and honestly, as you always do...

thanks again for this

Benji,

You pick up on the cynicism here, eh? There's that but there's also some hope too. The political side of things is sometimes a thorn you know? and not so much as just one thorn as you say... but so many that it's like I fell in a rose bush! The rabbit hole goes so deep that it starts to seem like it's only me down there for me to find...

ahh politics--politics of all kinds. really, nothing but a legalized form of minoritizing and isolating. bastards.
